Mater Private Hospital Bundaberg is looking for a Clinical Nurse to join the Perioperative Unit on a full-time, maximum term (12 months) basis.

Mater Private Hospital Bundaberg is an acute care hospital specialising in a broad range of procedures. Our 59-bed facility features three operating theatres, with more than 4,400 procedures completed annually. 

Salary Range: $ $58.30 hour plus 12% superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900+access to many staff benefits 

What you'll be doingAs a Clinical Nurse, you'll play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. You will use your advanced clinical skills and knowledge to support patients, guide nursing teams, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure best practice and positive health outcomes. You'll contribute to clinical education, mentor junior staff, and lead by example in maintaining professional standards and improving service delivery.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

  • Minimum 5 years perioperative (PACU/Anaesthetic) nursing experience.
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with no practice restrictions
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and clinical problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated commitment to continued quality improvement and best practice principles
