Perioperative Clinical Coach Opportunity

Bundaberg Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Perioperative Clinical Coach to join our Nursing and Midwifery Education team.

This role plays a crucial part in supporting perioperative nurses through clinical education, mentoring, and skills development to enhance patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and actively guide and encourage nursing / midwifery staff towards the delivery of quality care by promoting knowledge and skills for evidence-based and patient-focused clinical services in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
  • Develop, foster, and encourage a culture of learning through mentoring and preceptor support for all nursing / midwifery staff through all stages of the clinical journey, supporting timely resolution of clinical education needs and challenges.

Requirements:

  • Experienced nurse with a background in perioperative nursing.
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement educational programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
