OMICRON is a global company manufacturing innovative test equipment for electrical power systems. Our Australian office, located in Bundoora, supports OMICRON customers in the Pacific region with sales, service, training and technical support. Our team enjoys working in an environment of high personal responsibility – everyone has a crucial role in our joint success.
We are currently searching for a Customer and Sales Support professional to join our Sales and Operations teams. This is a new, full-time role, reflecting our growth in the Pacific market and a great opportunity for a professional administrator who wants to feel valued as part of a successful team.
Responsibilities
- Attend to customer enquiries via email and phone
- Work alongside our sales team to support the customer purchase journey from quotation to order to delivery to invoice
- Maintain a close working relationship with our Austrian order fulfilment team
- Handle customer payment processes, including credit
- Maintain and improve data quality in our customer database (CRM)
- Support our sales team in opportunity management and lead follow-up as needed
- Provide back-up to the CSS team in other processes (product servicing and training)
- Participate in and contribute to team meetings and goal setting
- Perform other duties as required
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes
- Business administration qualifications
- Working experience in office-based sales support and order fulfilment
- Excellent MS Office knowledge. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP and CRM ideal
- Professional communications skills – both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Enjoy working with people in a small team environment, a friendly and open-minded person
- Reliable, ability to take the initiative and work independently
- Available to participate in company activities (team workshops, occasional travel)
