Title: Manager, Asset Strategy and Planning, TRP Contract - Full-time Temporary Role, 35 hours per week

The Asset Strategy & Planning Team provides direction and leadership in managing and co-ordinating staff and other resources to ensure delivery of the strategic overarching asset management direction, including development and implementation of Council's Asset Management Policy and Asset Management Strategy.

Our opportunity:

The key focus areas of this role include:

1) Implementation of Council's Asset Management Policy and Asset Management Strategy, including the coordination and oversight of the development of all asset management plans across Council in conjunction with Council's various Asset Managers.

2) Coordination and delivery of the asset revaluations across Council, including reviews for consistency and alignment with appropriate standards.

3) Supporting relevant Executive Managers and associated asset teams in delivering against all aspects of the asset lifecycle including optimisation, and coordinating the delivery of our Asset Improvement Action Plan.

About you:

We're looking for a dynamic and experienced asset strategy professional to support our asset teams across the organisation. We have recently implemented stage 1 of our ERP program (Technology One – CiA) including Enterprise Asset Management (EAM), Finance, Fleet & Supply Chain, and this role will assist with the oversight and consistent implementation of the EAM functionality across our teams.

You'll bring a positive and people-oriented approach in building the resilience and financial sustainability of our asset portfolio, while working with a professional group of people who are passionate about high quality services to our community.
