**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity for an Asset Manager to join MCEC. You will implement, manage, and deliver the asset strategy and plans ensuring the overall performance of operating activities is continuously improved and supporting core business activities.

You will provide rigour and accountability to the various stages of the asset portfolio’s lifecycle including business cases, funding approvals, acquisition, operation, disposals, and reporting to provide comfort that assets are being managed effectively.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Influence and support the formulation of Capital Works business cases by the departments ensuring they are fully scoped with well-researched options.
- Ensure that no events or operations are disrupted during capital works implementation.
- Ensure activities are aligned and adhere to the Asset Management Accountability Framework and manage the annual reporting cycle.
- Monitor the asset management components of the PPP arrangement, liaising with partners and other key stakeholders.

**Qualifications, knowledge, and Experience**

**Essential**
- Degree relevant to the disciplines of asset management and/or project management
- Sound conceptual and analytical skills together with an ability to provide high quality reports
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to liaise and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Advanced computer literacy with demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft office suite programs
- Experience with coordinating projects and providing robustness around scope, budget and delivery

**Desirable**
- Experience with asset information systems
- Experience with Ungerboeck
