About The Role
This important
strategic planning role
will sit within the General Manager's Unit and work across all parts of the business. As a connector and facilitator, you will support the coordination and planning of service delivery across the Murray region to ensure our objectives are delivered on ground.

In This Role You Will

  • Lead the development of whole-of-business strategic and operational plans that align with LLS objectives and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Interpret multiple planning frameworks across disciplines and translate them into clear, actionable strategies.
  • Prepare the organisation for audits and provide expert advice on planning, reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Design and implement monitoring and evaluation processes, including metrics and reporting frameworks.
  • Support biosecurity, NRM, extension and advisory services through integrated planning and service delivery.

About You
We're seeking a strategic thinker who can translate big-picture goals into practical outcomes. You will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in designing and writing strategic and operational plans that guide on-ground delivery.
  • Strong skills in policy and planning interpretation, reporting and business management systems.
  • Proficiency in records management systems and preparation for audits.
  • Practical or demonstrated experience in natural resource management, extension and advisory services, biosecurity, and/or business management.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines and engage diverse stakeholders.
  • A degree in agriculture, environmental science, NRM, biosecurity, business management or equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • A current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel across the Murray region.
