About this role

Our clinics in Albany are currently seeking a Medical Receptionist to join the team. We are happy to accommodate a start date best suited to the successful candidate.

The role is a full time position working Monday to Friday, with shifts between clinic hours of 7am-5pm.

Role Overview:

As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
  • Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
  • Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
  • Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
  • Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.

What we're looking for:

Clear verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organisational abilities to manage appointments and patient flow.

Confidence working across multiple screens and systems.

Availability to work full time and participate in rotational Saturday shifts – approximately once every few months.
