About Us

Southern Plumbing Plus is the region's leading independent supplier of plumbing, bathroom, and kitchen products.  We're seeking a Branch Manager for our Wodonga branch who can build an already successful business into something even bigger.  You will be responsible for the entire operations of a branch, including retail/trade sales and logistics.

About the role

As Manager, you will be a primary driver of our success. You will strive to provide our customers with the highest levels of service we can achieve, and to do so fairly, ethically, and conscientiously.

This position provides leadership and guidance to your team as they strive to meet our customers' needs and exceed their expectations.  You will support the Senior Management Team to grow and move the business forward.

Establishing and fostering positive relationships with staff, customers, and suppliers is central to the role, while ensuring company policies and procedures are implemented to a high standard and delivering strong growth in sales and profitability for the store.

Your skills & experience

Ideally, the successful candidate will be:

  • a manager or assistant manager with a strong sales background
  • a person driven to deliver the highest levels of customer service that you and your team can produce
  • someone with a proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales and margin targets
  • a passionate but considerate leader who commands loyalty from customers and team members alike
  • a person who sees opportunities and exploits them
  • a good communicator, a fun person, and a clear and rational thinker
  • previous experience in managing a retail or wholesale trade-based business
