Key Responsibilities of the role are:

  • Maintenance of moulds
  • Fabrication, welding and assembly
  • MIG and ARC welding
  • Operation of overhead cranes and other lifting equipment
  • Operation of lathes and other machining tools
  • Perform a wide variety of fabrication, welding and assembly.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Contribute to continually improving in how we work.

Skills, qualifications, and experience

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience as a Boilermaker
  • Experience with MIG and ARC welding
  • Forklift licence if you have one- not essential.
  • A basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Good fault-finding skills.
  • Ability to read/follow job instruction, specifications, standard operating procedures including engineering drawings.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
  • A demonstrated commitment to safety
  • Have good attendance, working all rostered shifts each week.

In addition to the above:

  • Must hold valid working rights in Australia.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination, including Drug and Alcohol screening.
