Junior Financial Advisor

The Andersen Partnership are delighted to be working with a leading privately owned Australian wealth management firm, who are seeking to recruit a Junior Financial Advisor for their successful team, based in Sydney.

Formed over 20 years ago, my client deals with High-Net-Worth individuals throughout NSW and beyond. They pride themselves on delivering a celebrity service to their clients, making complex cases simple, clear and concise.

This is a top opportunity for an Associate Advisor (post PY) or Junior Financial Advisor who wants more exposure to the HNW space, eventually taking over a client book from a retiring advisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with financial advisers to gather client information and assist with the creation of financial plans
  • Providing exceptional client service and building long-lasting relationships with clients
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations, products, and industry trends
  • Assist in client meetings, with file notes & strategy preparation
  • Perform financial analysis and modelling to evaluate clients & financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment strategies
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices in financial planning

Requirements:

  • Post PY, fully qualified
  • Strong knowledge of financial products, investments, and financial planning principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Outgoing, team-oriented and eager to learn
