The Role

As Senior Financial Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting the finance function through a period of accelerated growth. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and is looking to make a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial reporting across multiple property assets and investment structures.
  • Finalise month-end accounts and prepare consolidated financial statements.
  • Manage statutory audit processes and liaise with external advisors for statutory reporting.
  • Develop and refine financial policies and procedures to support evolving business needs.
  • Strengthen financial controls and provide guidance to operational and investment teams.
  • Support strategic initiatives including acquisitions, fund launches, and capital raisings.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related discipline.
  • CA qualified (or equivalent) – chartered background strongly preferred.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience in financial reporting, ideally within property, real estate, or funds management.
  • Strong technical accounting skills with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial matters.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across finance, operations, and investment teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, including mentoring junior staff and driving process improvements.
