Our client, a professional services firm is seeking a full-time Financial Planner to join their team in their Sydney CBD office. The successful candidate will provide support to an existing client book.

This exciting role will suit a self-starter with exceptional relationship management skills and attention to detail, who is comfortable building out a client book through chasing leads and existing client referrals. This opportunity would suit someone who can work in Newcastle five days per week.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop comprehensive financial plans that include investment strategies, retirement planning, estate planning, tax optimization, and insurance coverage.
  • Present financial plans to clients in a clear and understandable manner, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Stay informed about market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes that may impact clients' financial situations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster long-term trust and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with other professionals within the firm, such as tax advisors and estate planners, to provide holistic financial solutions to clients.

Required qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Planner or Wealth Manager, with a successful track record of developing and implementing financial plans.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and professionalism.
  • Current knowledge of industry trends and best practices in financial planning.
