About the Opportunity

Join a top-tier Corporate team advising on some of Australia's most significant and high-profile Public M&A transactions.

Work on major takeovers, schemes, and cross-border deals for leading corporates and institutions, with exposure to complex, market-shaping transactions.

The Team

The Corporate team is recognised nationally for its expertise across both Public and Private M&A. They advise major listed companies, financial institutions, and global investors on high-value transactions that set market direction. The environment is collaborative, commercial, and deeply client-focused, offering strong partner access and genuine progression.

The Role

As a Senior Associate, you will:

  • Advise on takeovers, schemes of arrangement, and strategic corporate transactions
  • Manage workstreams across major transactions and regulatory processes
  • Work closely with partners and clients on deal execution and strategy
  • Support and mentor junior lawyers while contributing to business growth

Requirements

  • 3–6 years' PQE in Public M&A (experience in both public and private transactions highly regarded)
  • Background from a leading firm in Australia or internationally (London or New York experience valued)
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and client relationship skills
  • A commercial mindset and collaborative approach
