KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparation of financial statements in accordance with all current, legal and accounting reporting standards;
  • Preparation of income tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships and trusts;
  • Preparation of instalment and business activity statements;
  • Preparation of fringe benefits tax returns; and
  • Tax planning and advisory work for clients.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Essential

  • Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major

Desirable

  • Completion of CA (or similar qualification)

DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:

Essential

  • 3+ years business services experience;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
  • Demonstrate problem solving and decision making skills;
  • Working knowledge and application of Australian taxation legislation and payroll tax legislation; and
  • Working knowledge of MYOB and Xero.

Please note this is a 5 days a week in office position.
