Contract - Azure Integration Developer

Your new company

You will be joining a forward‑thinking local government organisation that is embarking on a major digital transformation program. The council has committed to implementing a modern cloud‑based ERP platform, replacing its legacy on‑premise system. This multi‑year initiative is designed to streamline operations, improve data integrity, and deliver more efficient services to the community. The environment is highly collaborative, with a strong emphasis on technical excellence and organisational change management.

Your new role

As an Integration Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the ERP migration project. You will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and deploying integration solutions that connect the new ERP with other critical applications. Your work will involve both synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns, ensuring robust and scalable connectivity. You will also contribute to solution release management using modern CI/CD pipelines, and provide support for ad‑hoc development needs as they arise. This is a technically rich role where you will be working across APIs, backend services, and data pipelines, ensuring seamless interoperability between systems.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven background in .NET development, with strong skills in building enterprise‑grade solutions
  • Hands‑on experience creating RESTful APIs and backend services using SQL
  • Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, and monitoring tools such as Azure AppInsights
  • Ability to deliver integration solutions across the full lifecycle - design, build, test, and deploy
  • Exposure to local government environments and ERP platforms such as TechnologyOne will be highly regarded
  • Additional experience with Salesforce integration or front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) will be advantageous
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a project team

What you'll get in return

This is a contract opportunity within a high‑profile transformation program, offering exposure to cutting‑edge SaaS ERP technology. You will gain valuable experience in large‑scale system integration, modern DevOps practices, and organisational change initiatives. The role provides the chance to broaden your technical expertise while contributing to a project that will have lasting impact. In return, you can expect competitive daily rates, flexible working arrangements, and the opportunity to collaborate with skilled professionals in a supportive environment.
