Alfresco Gardenware is looking for a hands-on, strategic thinker to take charge of buying, inventory, supplier relationships, shipping and warehouse coordination. If you love spreadsheets, care about margins, enjoy deep dives into forecasting, product data, and want to work at a company where your decisions directly affect growth, this could be you.The RoleWe're looking for a dynamic, numbers-driven supply and logistics professional to take ownership of our end-to-end supply chain. This role suits someone with 5+ years' experience in product based, retail, or wholesale supply who thrives on detail, loves working with numbers, and enjoys turning data into action.You'll be hands-on with purchasing, inventory planning, supplier and 3PL relationships, while also reporting on stock, sales trends, and margins. This is a pivotal role that directly influences our ability to meet customer demand and drive business growth.What you'll do:Own the end-to-end inventory & purchasing process: forecasting, POs, supplier management, product onboarding/exits, spare parts.Maintain product and packaging quality including QA and data integrity (dimensions, weights, labels, GS1 etc.).Monitor product performance: turnover, profitability, over/understock; recommend and implement improvements.Collaborate closely with CEO, GM, Sales & Marketing to align purchasing, launches & promotions.Produce regular reports with insights and flags to guide decisions.What we're looking for~5+ years' experience in supply chain / inventory / logistics roles, ideally with exposure to a product based industry, retail, import, 3PL or wholesaleStrong forecasting and analytical skills (Excel and/or stock projection tools).Proficiency in advanced Excel functions is essential for the forecasting and analytical requirements of this role.Detail-focused, a reliable and great communicator, able to balance operational accuracy with strategic oversight.Proactive mindset, raises issues early and works collaboratively across teams.Australian working rights are required at the time of application.Why You'll Love Working HereWe are a dynamic, growing family business with a supportive teamYou will have direct involvement with the business owners – your work makes a visible impactCompetitive salaryVariety and scope – no two days are the sameSo if you've read this far and this sounds like you, please submit your CV with the 6 questions answered in a Cover Letter.
