What you'll be doing:
You'll provide hands-on technical and functional support across a range of enterprise and web-based platforms, ensuring they run smoothly, securely, and efficiently for staff and volunteers across NSW.
You'll work closely with ICT teams, vendors, and business users to troubleshoot issues, manage updates, test new functionality, and implement improvements that enhance system performance and user experience. Your work will help keep critical RFS systems reliable and ready to support our communities.
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Experience supporting or maintaining enterprise or web-based applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate technical issues into plain language.
- Familiarity with system updates, configurations, and release processes.
- Understanding of software delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technical teams.
- A genuine appreciation for working within a volunteer-based community service.
