SAP Functional Analyst

Sydney / Hybrid

Contract to 30th June 2026 (possibility of extension)

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Analyst to support key business initiatives focused on improving systems, processes, and workflows across a large and complex environment. This position plays a pivotal role in translating business needs into practical solutions that enhance performance, efficiency, and user experience.

About the Role

You will work closely with delivery teams and business stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities, streamline workflows, and ensure solutions are aligned with strategic and operational objectives. The role involves end-to-end engagement across analysis, testing, and implementation, supporting successful delivery of high-quality system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse, design, and implement improvements to business systems and processes.
  • Develop tools, templates, and methods to support process efficiency and system optimisation.
  • Provide evidence-based insights and recommendations to guide solution design and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to monitor and improve tools, methods, and standards.
  • Support system testing activities, including test script updates, execution, and validation.
  • Coordinate functional testing to ensure business-critical requirements are met.
  • Work with data teams to support data mapping, validation, and migration activities.
  • Participate in cutover planning and execution to ensure a smooth transition to operations.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Strong background in SAP functional analysis with hands-on experience across one or more modules.
  • Proven ability to analyse and document business processes and translate them into system requirements.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, managing stakeholder expectations, and negotiating outcomes.
  • Understanding of data migration, validation, and cutover processes.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver quality outcomes within complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
