Goldspring Group is a privately owned company specialising in civil, rail, mining, construction & maintenance. We own a large fleet of internal plant that provides sustainable opportunities in employment.

Goldspring have an opportunity for experienced HC drivers based in the Maitland area.

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday with overtime and weekend work on offer. The successful candidate must be flexible in start and finish hours.

At Goldspring you will be floating earthmoving equipment, other plant equipment and construction materials to our projects and customer sites throughout NSW.

The successful candidates will be working in our heavy haulage operations and will be required to operate the below combinations.

  • Prime mover and tri axle widener
  • Prime mover and flat top
  • Prime mover quad axle widener
  • Over size over mass (OSOM) loads to meet business needs.

A HC licence is essential, MC licence will be highly regarded for larger combinations.

To be successful in this position it is envisioned that you meet the below Essential Criteria:

Essential Criteria

  • Ability to demonstrate proven experience in a similar haulage role.
  • HC Drivers Licence.
  • Up to date knowledge of NHVR OSOM compliance.
  • Load & Unload, Load Restraint, Chain of Responsibility & Fatigue Awareness training.
  • Must be flexible in start and finish hours.
  • Own Vehicle, for drive in, drive out.
  • WHS White Card.

Preferred Criteria:

  • Previous Float experience loading and unload earthmoving equipment.
  • Machinery Competencies in Plant operations.
  • Mechanically mined, able to complete basic maintenance and start up and lube.
  • MC licence will be highly regarded.
