About the role

ROADMASTER REFRIGERATED TRANSPORT' is seeking experienced HC (Heavy Combination) Drivers to join our dynamic team in Tomago, NSW. As an HC Driver, you will play a crucial role in our refrigerated transportation operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods across the region. What you'll be doing

  • Safely operating heavy combination (HC) vehicles to transport refrigerated goods
  • Adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
  • Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Monitoring vehicle performance and reporting any issues or maintenance needs
  • Delivering goods to customers on schedule and providing excellent customer service
  • Maintaining accurate trip logs and documentation
  • Assisting with loading and unloading of vehicles as required

What we're looking for

  • A valid HC driver's licence with a clean driving record
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience driving heavy combination vehicles
  • Knowledge of load restraint and refrigeration unit operation
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights and weekends
