Diploma Room Leader

We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate experienced Diploma Room Leader to join our Campsie Centre

Key responsibilities will include:

• Planning, implementing, and evaluating a curriculum/program for individuals and groups in accordance with approved curriculum frameworks.
• Being confident in leading and teaching various age groups
• Being an outgoing, positive and nurturing educator who respects the rights of the child at all times
• Consistently encouraging and supporting children by providing meaningful and open interactions that promote a child's sense of belonging, being, and becoming.
• Sharing two way, meaningful information with families about a child's progress, relationships, interests, and experience
• Great team player

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Possess a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Must have previous experience as a room leader
• Be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of NQS, NQF, and EYLF.
• Possess sound understanding and experience in programming and planning for children aged 0 to 6.
• Hold current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management qualifications
• Hold a Working With Child Check clearance (or completed the application process for a new Check).
