About the role

Protech Pest Control is seeking a talented Pest Control Technician to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality pest control services to our residential and commercial customers. Whether you are a trainee or a qualified pest control technician, we offer opportunities for career growth and development.

What you'll be doing

  • Identifying and treating a variety of pests including insects, rodents and other wildlife
  • Inspecting customer premises to assess the extent of an infestation and develop customised treatment plans
  • Applying pesticides and other control methods in a safe and effective manner
  • Providing excellent customer service and educating customers on pest prevention
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of all work performed
  • Adhering to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  • Pest control qualification or relevant experience in the industry
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • A valid driver's licence
  • Commitment to safety and environmental best practices
