Westbrook Construction is an ever growing business with over three decades of experience in the construction industry. We cater a wide range of project sizes and specialise in formwork, concreting, steel fixing and more.

Due to the growth of our business, we are currently looking for a full-time Welder / Metal Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate is trade qualified and has at least 3 years work experience as a Metal Fabricator. Candidates need to demonstrate a high level of workmanship.

As a Metal Fabricator your everyday responsibilities will include:

· Understanding and interpreting technical drawings.

· Choosing and preparing metal stock and operating metal press & guillotine machinery to cut, shape and bend metal.

· TIG & MIG welding using mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum to join metal sections.

· Grinding and cleaning up of welds to finish products.

· Commitment to quality, attention to detail and workplace health and safety.

· Ability to work to deadlines.

In addition, the right candidate will be required to:

· Hold a current C class drivers' licence.

· Be a strong team player.

· Follow job specifications & work off initiative
