Position: Welder

Location: Wangara, WA

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC, etc.).
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding specifications to determine project requirements.
  • Measure and cut metal components to precise specifications.
  • Perform quality inspections to ensure welded structures meet company and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a welder (minimum 3 years) preferably in fencing. Commercial or industrial experience also valued.
  • Experience with fencing fabrication preferred - Chainmesh gates & frames, Garrison gates & frames
  • Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG Welding)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding specifications.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Welding certifications not required however a plus.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials
