Brown Brothers Engineers is a leading provider of pumps and pumping solutions. We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team located at our Keysborough facility.

We are looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, a keen eye for detail and a dedication to producing high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metals including steel and stainless steel.
  • Read and interpret schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications.
  • Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Perform assembly work on packaged pump systems.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator with expertise in MIG and TIG welding
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in your work
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Certification in Welding or a relevant Trade Qualification
  • Experience in Stainless Pipe welding will be highly regarded
  • Hold current Australian working rights
  • Current Australia Driver's Licence
