About The Role
Lead the strategic coordination of
Grampians Health's medical workforce across junior and senior levels
. This pivotal role ensures effective recruitment, rostering, contract management, and workforce planning. You'll work closely with
Clinical Directors, Educators and Talent Acquisition
to deliver high-quality, consistent workforce services.

Drive strategic oversight of medical workforce operations

Lead and support a high-performing Medical Workforce Unit

Collaborate across departments to ensure consistency in entitlements and compliance

Provide accurate workforce data to inform planning and decision-making

Manage recruitment, rostering, and credentialing processes

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee recruitment and employment of medical staff
  • Coordinate daily and on-call rosters for junior doctors
  • Ensure compliance with AHPRA, PMCV, and immigration requirements
  • Lead financial reporting and budget management for medical staffing
  • Support orientation and workforce development initiatives

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in clinical or management discipline (preferred)
  • Proven leadership in complex healthcare settings
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience in workforce planning and change management
  • Knowledge of industrial instruments and accreditation standards
