About The Role
The Senior Project Manager – Operational Commissioning Planning will be responsible for initiating the Operational Commissioning Project including standing up the working groups. They will lead the project during the early planning phases and support the project during the delivery phase.

This role will support the submission of the operational commissioning business case, initiate the project, and manage its planning phase. They will manage a team of project staff and stakeholders to define project objectives, commence detailed operational readiness planning activities and ensure that all working groups and departments are coordinating and collaborating to achieve project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive project management plan and identify a suite of sub-management plans, processes and templates required to support the project.
• Lead and manage the project team during the planning phase, including assignment of tasks and monitoring of progress
• Manage project finances and be responsible for the review and legislative compliance of Policies & Procedures relevant to the team.

Skills & Experience

• Qualifications in project management, healthcare or other relevant qualifications.
• 5 years experience in leading teams.
• Demonstrated experience in managing financial budgets and programs.
• Based predominantly at the Ballarat Base Hospital. Remote working may be required from time to time.
