Kitchen Manager Casual

Location: Burg World Shop 20 Siganto Drive, Helensvale

Hours: Casual (Wednesday to Sunday) 11am - 9pm 3 days minimum. More hours and days next year as we will be trading full time.

We're on the lookout for a Kitchen Manager to take the reins and run the day-to-day operations of Burg World. This is a hands-on leadership role perfect for someone ready to step up and treat the place like their own.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and service flow
  • Manage and lead the team including training and performance
  • Handle inventory and ordering – maintain stock levels and reduce waste
  • Maintain food safety and cleanliness standards
  • Manage prep and service efficiency
  • Coordinate with suppliers and handle deliveries
  • Help streamline systems and processes to keep things running smooth
  • Be proactive with problem solving and take ownership of the shop's success
  • Grill will be your main job, but will need to able to work in all areas.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in a similar leadership or head chef/kitchen manager role
  • Strong communication and team management skills
  • Confidence in making decisions and running a shift solo
  • Great attention to detail and a passion for quality food
  • Reliable, motivated, and looking for long-term growth
  • Someone who can take direction but also take initiative
