About the role

Due to ongoing growth in our business we are seeking an Internal Salesperson with a positive attitude to join our busy National Sales Team - working out of our head office based at Bundamba Ipswich.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for

  • Qualifying and quoting customers via phone and email sales inquiries and walk-ins
  • Developing relationships with new and existing customers
  • Providing product information and support to customers (training will be provided)
  • Processing of sales orders, invoices, quotations and purchase orders
  • Building relationships with customers based on honesty, capability, and great communication
  • Answering and dealing effectively with telephone and email inquiries requesting quotations for products
  • Quantifying and quoting all opportunities including ensuring CRM is kept up to date
  • Provide product support for customers where required
  • Liaising directly with Production personnel and customers to efficiently answer general inquiries concerning deliveries and production
  • Liaise daily with colleagues and update them on any developments in your work, ensuring a high level of team relationships exist
  • Proactively ensure personal competency in the operation of the company's computer/IT systems to enable access to customer information and input sales orders as required
  • Follow all Work Health and Safety policies, procedures and work instructions, safe work method statements, and risk assessments
  • Perform other duties as required and directed by the management team

About you

  • Hold a Current Drivers Licence
  • Have basic to intermediate level of computer skills.
  • Be able to organize and analyze information with attention to detail.
