About the role:

Shape the Future of Compliance at RACQ Bank.

We're seeking a hands-on Compliance Advisor to deliver first-line compliance advice and assurance. In this role, you'll support leaders with compliance obligations and incident management, while working closely with second- and third-line risk teams and internal audit.

Key responsibilities: 

Provide first-line compliance advice and assurance, supporting leaders with obligations and incident management.Drive a strong risk-awareness culture and educate staff on compliance principles relevant to their roles.Build collaborative relationships across the Bank, Group Risk & Compliance, and internal stakeholders.Contribute to governance, policy implementation, and design of compliance controls for new and changing processes.Support reporting, data quality, and continuous improvement initiatives, including regulatory reporting and risk forums.

About you:

Minimum Certificate qualification in a relevant field (degree preferred).3–5 years' experience in risk or compliance advisory within financial services.Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance for retail banking, including AML/CTF, Corporations Act, NCCP Act, Privacy Act, APRA Prudential Standards, and ASIC guidelines.Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and support stakeholders, including senior leaders.Proven ability to write professional reports, solve problems, and manage priorities effectively.Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills and experience building relationships across multiple stakeholders.
