We are seeking an experienced professional to support our State Government client on a short-term engagement. This is a fantastic opportunity to make an immediate impact by shaping our client's future project management capability.

About the role:

Your primary responsibility will be to complete a structured solutions assessment for a replacement project management tool. The successful candidate will play a key role in assessing and recommending the most suitable project management tool for our client's future needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting a structured desktop assessment of TechOne, Altus, and Microsoft Suite (Planner, Project for the Web, Power Platform) against business requirements.
  • Liaising with stakeholders across the department to understand impacts and ensure alignment.
  • Considering compatibility with solutions used across other Government agencies.
  • Recommending a preferred solution
  • Assisting in the design of an implementation plan for the recommended solution.
  • Supporting additional activities as directed

About you:

We are looking for someone who brings:

  • Strong experience in project management tools evaluation and implementation.
  • Ability to conduct structured assessments and provide clear recommendations.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Understanding of government or public sector IT solutions (desirable).
  • A proactive, analytical, and outcomes-focused approach.
