Position InformationCasula High School is a coeducational, comprehensive educational setting that currently has 1240 students enrolled, including 3.6% Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, 39% EAL/D, 3.3% refugee background and 78% students from a non-English speaking background. The staff and parent groups at the school have a deep commitment to the school and the growth, wellbeing and learning of all students.
Student motivation and achievement are enhanced through quality teaching and learning programs, welfare structures and support programs that enhance the intellectual, creative, leadership, social and physical skills of students. The Student Representative Council (SRC) is a vibrant and committed student body that holds a high profile and plays an active role in the school. The staff and students are guided by the school values of courage, courtesy and concern, as these are core principles and support students as they strive to reach their full potential.
Casula High School is a Positive Behavioural and Intervention Supports (PBIS) school. The school's wellbeing framework is underpinned by the values of Safety, High Expectations, Achievement, Respect and Prepared. Casula High School also has a Support Unit consisting of one mild intellectual disability class, two autism classes and one moderate intellectual disability class.

- Demonstrated ability to lead partnerships, with the capacity to drive teamwork and enhance the school's commitment to excellence in literacy, numeracy, pathways and HSC attainment.
- An experienced leader who nurtures student advocacy, promotes a love for learning and supports a positive educational environment that champions the wellbeing outcomes of all students, ensuring they feel connected to the school.
- Demonstrated experience in bringing to life a powerful school excellence plan aligned to the NSW Plan for Public Education and the aspirations of excellence and equity for all.
High level educational leadership with the skills to lead and manage a complex public school focused on the delivery of high quality education
Ability to lead and manage rigorous and inclusive whole school teaching and learning programs
High level communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build positive relationships and engage all levels of the school and educational community
Ability to lead and manage the development and performance of staff to improve teaching and learning
Ability to plan systems and manage resources effectively and equitably to enhance teaching and learning
Capacity to lead staff in implementing the Department's Aboriginal education policy and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people

The classification and remuneration of our school principals is based on school complexity, as measured through each school's RAM allocation. As part of the ongoing application of the new structure a review of thresholds and outcomes will occur on an annual basis. The principal classification for this school is Principal Level P4 for 2025.
