Concord Public School has an enrolment of approximately 280 students, with 64% coming from non-English speaking backgrounds including a large cohort of international students. The school is deeply committed to the success of every student, with a strong focus on student engagement and well-being. These priorities are embedded across all school-wide programs, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment. The school caters for diverse learning needs through three dedicated autism support classes and offers a long-standing Community Language program in Italian. Students benefit from a wide range of extracurricular opportunities, including dance, senior and junior choirs, debating and public speaking.
Concord Public School actively encourages the involvement of parents and carers and are fortunate to have exceptional support from the school community. The Parents and Citizens (P&C) Association works in close partnership with the school, helping to support key school priorities and initiatives each year.
Following the school's recent External Validation process, future directions include assessment and data literacy, effective classroom practice, curriculum and wellbeing.

- Demonstrated capacity to lead a culture of instructional and innovative excellence through consistent, evidence-informed teaching that strengthens curriculum delivery and drives student growth across diverse learning needs including EAL/D, HPGE and students in specialised support classes.
- Highly developed capacity to build a cohesive, inclusive school culture that supports wellbeing, engagement and a sense of belonging in a culturally diverse environment.
- Proven ability to lead consistent, high-quality assessment and data-informed practices that improve student learning outcomes across the school.
High level educational leadership with the skills to lead and manage a complex public school focused on the delivery of high quality education
Ability to lead and manage rigorous and inclusive whole school teaching and learning programs
High level communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build positive relationships and engage all levels of the school and educational community
Ability to lead and manage the development and performance of staff to improve teaching and learning
Ability to plan systems and manage resources effectively and equitably to enhance teaching and learning
Capacity to lead staff in implementing the Department's Aboriginal education policy and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people

The classification and remuneration of our school principals is based on school complexity, as measured through each school's RAM allocation. As part of the ongoing application of the new structure a review of thresholds and outcomes will occur on an annual basis. The principal classification for this school is Principal Level P2 for 2025 and Principal Level P2 for 2026.
