Position: Project Geologist - Growth

Location: Jundee

Roster: 8 days on, 6 days off

What you can look forward to:

This role within the Growth team is dedicated to driving the generation and advancement of underground exploration targets that align with Jundee's growth strategy and long-term production goals.

• The development and management of a significant drilling budget dedicated to the growth of the operation.
• Provide technical guidance in ore deposit modelling, advancement of mining studies, and support long-term mine planning.
• Lead and manage a team of Growth Geologists, fostering a strong safety culture with a focus on collaboration and delivery of results.
• Ensure the accurate handling of exploration data, including Quality Assurance/Quality Control processes, data interpretation, and comprehensive report writing.
• Develop collaborative and performance driven relationships with key departments and business partners.
• Identify, develop, and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

To thrive in this role, you'll bring

Expertise & Accomplisments:

• Tertiary qualifications in geoscience.
• +5 years relevant experience, including within an UG mining operation.
• Proficient user of Leapfrog and Datamine.
• Knowledge of drilling methods, sampling practices, structural geology and geochemistry techniques. Understanding of resource estimation methods.
• Practical experience with contractor management, cost tracking and budgeting.
• Ability to influence, communicate risks effectively, and deliver compelling presentations.
