The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to be embedded within a multi-national enterprise customer site.

Candidates must have a minimum of 7-8 years of DevOps experience.

In this role, you will own the day-to-day operation, upgrading, and lifecycle management of the FSAI's Platform in the customer's environment. While the platform itself is engineered by FSAI's product team, your responsibility is to deploy, integrate, and operate it reliably within the customer's infrastructure.

This position requires not only strong technical depth in Kubernetes, AWS, and enterprise DevOps tooling, but also the ability to work closely with the customer's internal teams, ensuring compliance, security, and performance expectations are consistently met.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, operate, and upgrade the Future Secure Platform in a large enterprise environment.
  • Own Kubernetes cluster operations (EKS), upgrades, scaling, networking, and security.
  • Manage CI/CD systems, including ArgoCD, and oversee integrations with the customer's Bitbucket and Bamboo pipelines.
  • Operate and evolve Prometheus and Grafana monitoring stacks; ensure enterprise-grade observability.
  • Collaborate with the customer's IT and infrastructure teams on networking, IAM, and compliance requirements.
  • Act as the primary technical interface between Future Secure's product engineers and the customer's operations teams.
  • Develop automation, runbooks, and playbooks to ensure smooth ongoing operations.
  • Provide knowledge transfer to customer DevOps teams.

Requirements

  • Expert-level Kubernetes operations
  • Deep AWS experience: EKS, S3, IAM, RDS, networking.
  • Proven experience managing infrastructure inside large, regulated, enterprise environments.
  • Experience bridging product engineering with on-site enterprise IT teams.
  • Strong CI/CD background with GitOps (ArgoCD) and integration into enterprise pipelines.
  • Containerization expertise with Docker; ability to support workloads across , Python, and .NET.
  • Strong troubleshooting and incident management in complex distributed systems.
  • Experience maintaining Helm charts at scale
  • Australian work authorisation is required for this position.
