About Us:

We are seeking an experienced
Senior DevOps Engineer
to join our client's team. In this role, you will drive DevOps best practices for Java/Spring Boot and container-based applications in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain DevOps pipelines for Java/Spring Boot applications in a containerized environment.
  • Develop and manage
    Jenkins
    pipelines, with expertise in
    Declarative Pipelines
    and
    Library functions
    .
  • Manage and maintain code repositories with
    Git
    .
  • Work with
    Docker
    to create containers and
    Kubernetes
    for orchestration. Use
    Helm
    for managing deployments.
  • Integrate and manage tools such as
    SonarQube
    ,
    Nexus
    ,
    Nexus IQ
    , and
    GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS)
    for code quality, security, and artifact management.
  • Deploy and manage applications and infrastructure on
    AWS
    , ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define and implement DevOps standards, templates, and automation processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience
    in DevOps, specifically with
    Java/Spring Boot
    applications and
    containerized environments
    .
  • Expertise in building
    CI/CD pipelines
    , with hands-on experience in
    Declarative Pipelines
    and creating
    Library functions
    .
  • Proficient in
    Git
    for source control.
  • Strong experience with
    Shell
    and
    Groovy
    scripting.
  • Solid experience with
    Docker
    ,
    Kubernetes
    , and
    Helm
    .
  • Extensive hands-on experience working with
    AWS
    .
  • Familiarity with tools like
    SonarQube
    ,
    Nexus
    ,
    Nexus IQ
    , and
    GitHub Advanced Security
    .
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
