DSC-IT is a leading Managed IT Services Company, specialising in Cloud Infrastructure, Managed Services, and IT security.

Founded in 1997, the DSC business has organically grown with a balance of Not for Profit, Commercial and High Family office clients.

Due to our ongoing growth through new contracts, a role has become available for a part-time Sales Support Officer to join our Sales Team. We are a values-based, dynamic company and an employer who believes our people are our most important asset.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

This role, within the DSC Sales Team, is responsible for quoting product-only sales to our customers and prospects, as well as supporting the Sales Executives with more complex product and services sales by way of quoting, pricing, and logistics support.

The Duties would include

  • Own client renewals for warranty, subscriptions, etc. and maintain a revenue stream to fund the role
  • Prepare Quotes for Clients and internally for Sales Executives
  • Manage order entry and procurement tasks
  • Audit and Maintain asset and configuration databases for clients as required
  • Manage supply chain, logistics and vendors as needed
  • Create Purchase Orders for suppliers
  • Keep clients and Sales Executives updated on order progress
  • Answer sales line as needed
  • Obtain and maintain necessary vendor sales certifications

The following skills would be advantageous

  • Basic IT hardware product knowledge
  • Experienced in Vendor sales and support
  • High level organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent presentation and relationship building skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level written and oral communication skills.
  • An ability to work well in a team-based environment.

The successful candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, along with good presentation skills and a high standard of spoken and written English. The ability to work well in a small team, sometimes under pressure, whilst maintaining a good sense of humour should be considered essential attributes for potential applicants. A demonstrated history of experience, working in the Perth IT market is advantageous.

Certifications

Some basic sales certifications may be required, and attaining and maintaining these will form part of the employee's KPI's.


Terms of Employment:

This is a part time casual position moving into a permanent part-time role, with a competitive remuneration to be negotiated based on experience, along with a Sales plan and an associated Sales commission based on maintaining and growing a revenue stream to self-fund.

Working hours are flexible and negotiable
