Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a high-energy kitchen, a strong understanding of food preparation techniques, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in both flavor and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following established recipes and quality standards.
  • Cook food with regulating temperature and proper seasoning .
  • Ensure food is presented attractively and consistently ensuring quality.
  • Assist in menu development, bringing creativity and fresh ideas to the kitchen.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering, and minimize food waste.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and efficient service.
  • Adapt to customer requests, dietary requirements, and special orders with precision.
  • Store food in controlled temperature.
  • Train junior staff.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines, including proper food storage and handling procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a cook in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding food.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or Equivalent.
