Primary objective
Provide strategic leadership and effective project management in the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of
key information management frameworks, systems, standards, and processes.

Context statement
Information Management Services provides best practice advice and records management services to NTG client agencies.
Structured into several work streams, a wide range of services are delivered, including records management, help desk services,
records appraisal, sentencing and disposal, training development and delivery and Freedom of Information.

Key duties and responsibilities
Lead, oversee and implement project related activities, including governance, records management and planning.
Provide leadership, support, guidance and oversight of projects.
Liaise with and establish strong networks with key stakeholders across projects to facilitate a collaborative approach to

information management and including systems and tools to support practices.
Successfully deliver service outputs and the achievement of planned outcomes.
Produce, communicate, review, maintain and monitor governance arrangements.
Maintain effective reporting systems and provision of quality reports, submissions, briefings regarding all areas of responsibility

against project performance indicators and other strategic priorities.

Selection criteria
Essential
Well-developed planning, project and organisational skills, with experience managing multiple complex, high priority tasks to meet

competing deadlines.
Well-developed analytical and conception skills, with experience applying business process improvement and change

management methodologies.
Proven ability to achieve results by building organisational capability and responsiveness, marshalling expertise, implementing

and steering change.
Experience and contemporary knowledge of records and information management frameworks, systems and practices.
High ability to draft accurate and succinct meeting records, reports, briefings and submissions, develop recommendations,

monitor and follow-up action items.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective networks with a range of internal and external stakeholders and represent

the agency on inter-departmental forums.
Demonstrated work ethic and attitude which emulates the Department of Corporate and Digital Development (DCDD) values

of commitment to service, innovation, ethical practice, accountability, impartiality, diversity and respect.

Desirable
Qualifications in project management.
