We are currently seeking a passionate Rehabilitation Consultant to join our expanding team in Northern NSW or the Gold Coast. This opportunity is available on a permanent (full-time or part-time) or contract basis, with the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement or the option to be based at our Gold Coast office.

Role responsibilities:
  • Assessment of Veteran client's rehabilitation and well-being needs.
  • Create and implement individual rehabilitation plans to promote a successful transition from the Australian Defence Force to civilian life.
  • Coordination of return-to-work plans (vocational assessments, functional capacity evaluations, work trials, and job placement) and non-return-to-work plans (engagement in treatment and psychosocial activities).
  • Provision of consultancy services specific to your allied health discipline, such as ADL assessments, vocational assessments, worksite task analysis, training, and employer consultancy.
  • Liaison with key multidisciplinary clinical stakeholders.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Tertiary Qualifications - Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Psychologist, Exercise Physiologist, Rehabilitation Counsellor. Other Comcare-accredited Allied Health Applicants will also be considered.
  • Accreditation with AHPRA or relevant professional body.
