Centre for Behavioural Research in Cancer's
(CBRC) mission is to conduct high quality applied behavioural research to inform and influence cancer prevention policies, programs and services, in order to reduce the impact of cancer on the community. CBRC also leads the research and evaluation activities of the
Quit
Program.
About your opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Research and Evaluation Manager, Quit to join the Centre for Behavioural Research in Cancer. Your role is to:
- Conceive, lead and manage the research and evaluation framework for the Quit program.
- Advance new approaches and oversee the conception, design and implementation of smoking and vaping campaign, service and program monitoring and evaluation initiatives.
- Develop, maintain and influence relationships with stakeholders and partners.
- Supervise the Quit Research and Evaluation team and foster a high-performance culture.
All about you
We are looking for someone with:
- Master's degree or PhD in psychology, behavioural science, public health or a related discipline.
- Substantial research and evaluation skills and experience in an evaluation or research environment.
- The ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in supervising staff.

- Base salary of $126,636 to $149,196 p.a. (dependant on experience, pro rata for part time) plus 12% superannuation
