The Opportunity

  • Is suitable for a senior solicitor with a passion for family law (3+ year/s PQE);
  • Is for a candidate who is looking for a long term future with growth opportunities;
  • Assisting and contributing to the success of the firm's family law practice;
  • Be mentored by their peers and Partners of the firm;
  • Carriage of own matters, providing timely and practical legal advice to clients and liaising with clients, third parties and Counsel;
  • Attend Court and Conciliation; and
  • Opportunities for management and marketing

Selection criteria

  • PQE 3+ year.
  • Has had at least 2 years  experience in family law
  • Ability to work as part of a team and work autonomously.
  • Well-developed MS Office and Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Highly motivated.
  • Can-do attitude.
  • Well-presented, confident and reliable.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution skills and ability to work within a team, including under supervision.
