About the Role
We are looking for ambitious senior consultant to associate level candidates with between 3-8 years' industry experience to join our Commercial Advisory Team. You will provide contractual and commercial expertise over the lifecycle of a project to ensure that contract requirements are met and the clients' best interests are maximised. This role will also support clients in management of whole life contract administration, including: analysis of progress claims, assessment and entitlement of variations and drafting of applicable contract notices - always aiming to achieve a best for project commercial outcome.
About you
You will bring experience from high-profile energy, infrastructure, or mission-critical projects, with a proven record of shaping and implementing commercial strategies that drive stronger project outcomes. You will have a keen eye for detail and excellence in service delivery. Our preferred candidate will have held roles as either contract administrator, quantity surveyor, contracts manager or commercial manager for either government or contractor clients.
You will have:
- At least 3+ years' relevant experience in contract administration or commercial management in the construction, energy or transport sectors.
- Tertiary qualification in Law, Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Commerce or similar field.
- Excellent foundation knowledge of contracts, commercial processes within the construction industry.
- Experience working on major infrastructure, energy or mission critical construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience working on different contract delivery models including D&C, lump sum, alliance, PPPs or incentivised target cost contracts.
- The ability to foster strong working relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners to expand business opportunities and collaborations.
- Strong and personable communication skills (oral & written) including negotiation and influencing skills.
