  • Splash is a convenient fully integrated community based aquatic facility delivering:
  • Learn to Swim for infants through to adults.
  • Early Childhood Centre and School Swimming Programs.
  • Adults Aqua Fitness sessions.
  • The centre is equipped with a purposed built indoor heated 25-metre pool allowing operating all year round to delivering a range of programs.
  • Opportunities to grow with the business as we develop further Splash Centres as part of our shopping centres across Queensland.

The Role:

  • Coordinating the business to teach children how to swim.
  • To ensure successful operation of Splash Flagstone Learn to Swim facility.
  • Leading and supervising our team of teachers and instructors.
  • Ability to communicate openly and effectively and build strong rapport and trust with children and their parents and carers.
  • Build relationships to promote and deliver our programs to children, schools and childcare centres.
  • Efficient and effective administration and scheduling of lessons, teachers and participants of our growing Swim School Programs.

The successful applicant should possess the following key attributes:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • A passion for swimming and water safety.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of teaching across different levels from babies to 10-year-olds.
  • Current trends within the industry.
  • Ability to comply with all relevant legislative requirements.
  • Demonstrate professional personal presentation and a positive and enthusiastic disposition.
  • Advanced organisational and time management skills with ability to multitask.
  • Advanced computer skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Teaching or Human Movements Degree.
  • Desire to gain AUSTSWIM or Swimming Australia -Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety Accreditation, Infant and Preschool Qualifications, Towards Competitive Strokes.
  • Current Working with Children Blue Card.
  • Current Senior First Aid and current CPR Qualifications.
  • Pool Lifeguard Certificate or the ability to attain it.
  • Pool Plant Operator Certificate or the ability to attain it.
  • Access and Inclusion Teaching Qualifications.
