The Opportunity
A new and exciting opportunity is available for a Schedules Coordinator to join the Seven Canberra team working across our regional broadcast markets as we embark on a digital transformation program. This is a fast-paced and varied role - a rare opportunity to get a behind the scenes view of broadcast media and kick-start your career in the industry.
This role is a contract position and requires you to work full-time hours Monday to Friday, with some later finishes required.
You will be
based in Canberra
and
reporting to the Head of Scheduling Operations
. You will be responsible for:
- Preparing & finalising daily television schedules for on-air broadcast.
- Managing the contents of commercial breaks and quality-checking prior to broadcast.
- Confirming that finalised schedules adhere to industry regulations.
- Operating in liaison with other departments and stakeholders to ensure all required data is correctly placed in daily schedules.
About You
You are a proactive, self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and build effective business relationships. You will be organised and meticulous in your work and be able to work to tight deadlines. You also ideally have:
- Experience in administration, retail sales or data entry (preferred).
- Strong computer literacy and data entry skills.
- A strong attention to detail and an analytical nature.
