Role Description

Evolution Capital is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Broker to join our team in Sydney. This full-time role is central to advising clients on accessing capital markets, developing tailored financing strategies, and supporting corporate transactions. The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting Australian companies with capital raising initiatives, including listings on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

Key Duties

  • Conduct research and analysis on financial markets, products, and regulatory trends.
  • Advise and support capital raising and stock exchange listings, including preparation of documentation.
  • Consult with clients to identify financial needs and objectives and provide tailored solutions.
  • Provide strategic financial advice on mergers, acquisitions, and capital structure optimisation.
  • Develop and structure bespoke financing arrangements across debt and equity instruments.
  • Negotiate with institutional investors and market participants to secure favourable terms.
  • Prepare professional reports, proposals, and compliance documents.
  • Maintain and grow strong client and investor relationships.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 12 months experience in financial markets, corporate advisory, or brokerage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.
  • Proficiency with financial research and trading platforms such as 
    Bloomberg
     and 
    IRESS
    .
  • Knowledge of international capital markets (experience with European/German markets advantageous).
