Role Overview*

Provide administrative services, contract administration support and customer service for the Infrastructure Services Branch. 

Essential Knowledge & Skills:

  • Demonstrated interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with the ability to consult, communicate and solve problems effectively in a multidisciplinary environment within set guidelines.

  • Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to produce high quality documents with attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of office procedures including time management, planning and organisational skills to maintain deadlines.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or in a team in a professional and positive manner with the ability to be tactful and discrete when dealing with matters of a sensitive nature.

  • Queensland 'C' Class driver's licence that is current and maintained.

Essential Requirements:

  • Contract administration support.

  • Provide administrative support, including word processing, data entry, report writing, correspondence, records management and development of standard operating procedures.

  • Assist in special projects including procurement activities.

  • Provide customer service to internal and external customers.

  • Analyse invoices, supply panel rates, costs allocation and contract terms and conditions to achieve best financial outcomes for Council.

  • Prepare, append, reconcile and record financial information via councils online requisitioning system.

  • To process data input/upload files and process for payment.

  • Support and promote a positive and cooperative team environment, which fosters creative problem solving and shared learning.

  • Maintain a positive organisational image, which promotes good customer relations and maximises the provision of a high level of service to enhance the customer experience.
