The Role

You will support the GIS & Asset Information Team to achieve compliance with the City's Road Management Plan obligations and implement sound asset management practices. You will support the ongoing safety, availability and functionality of the City's assets and contribute to the maintenance of robust and accurate corporate and financial knowledge regarding the state of City assets.

You will undertake inspections, identify defects and recommend appropriate rectification works on our infrastructure assets, which includes sealed roads, unsealed roads, kerb and channel, footpaths, bridges, dam walls and drainage assets.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will have qualifications and/or experience in asset management and/or asset inspection practices, principles and benefits. You will also have strong computer skills, good attention to detail with strong communication and time management skills.
