ABOUT YOU.

We're looking to build a team who will work within the new Sydney showroom. Currently under construction and designed by Vincent Van Duysen's studio, alongside Molteni&C, the showroom will be centrally located in Surry Hills with interim office located in Haymarket.

We are seeking a person to join the team with an immediate start, you should be passionate about design and motivated to represent and be part of one of the industries most prestigious brands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES.

Collaborate with A&D community along with retail clientele to establish project requirements

Refine design concepts and suggest modifications and alternations to suit project

Have an in-depth knowledge of the product to support sales team along with end client

Work alongside sales team to establish project pricing and prepare quotations

Pricing and cost analysis for joinery projects, pricing tables

Liaise with technical department in Italy to ensure design objectives are met for projects

Prepare joinery presentations for sales team

Liaise with end client on technical detailing and information,

Oversee and manage installation quotes and costings

Maintain and monitor central filing system (Project specific)

Oversee and sign off drawings

Prepare Purchasing Packs for production

Sign off documentation and drawing packages from Factory

Liaise with sales and logistics (Project Manager)

Check measures and site inspections

Defecting reporting – working alongside installation team to document, action and resolve and defecting issues that arise.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS.

Problem-solving skills: the ability to proactively identify opportunities and red flags.

Ability to work well in team, but not afraid of operating autonomously.

Excellent spoken and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Passion and knowledge of the furniture and design category.

Fluent spoken English expected, additional languages a plus.

Previous experience or an understanding of Modular based joinery would be an advantage as the role will require quick learning and hit the ground running.

Experience with dealing with A&D community along with good communication and presentable for showroom as the role will involve meeting with clients in the showroom
