Coast Bay Kitchens & Cabinets (Coast Bay), Kitchen & Cabinets provider in Western Sydney, is currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Joinery Draftsman. Our project ranges from custom residential properties we offer a diverse and dynamic work environment where no two jobs are the same.
As a Joinery Draftsman, you will uphold the high standard of work associated with Coast Bay. Your exceptional problem-solving skills will be integral to delivering high-quality outcomes for our diverse clientele.
Currently, we are looking for a Draftsman who is highly skilled in use Mozaik Cabinet Software to create precise, build-ready drawings, layouts, and production documents. A team player with an ability to work with Production team, Installation teams & Sales.
Job Responsibilities:- Create detailed cabinet drawings using Mozaik Cabinet Software.
- Interpret architectural plans and client specifications to produce accurate 2D and 3D layouts.
- Generate cut lists, CNC code, and other production documents using Mozaik.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and production staff to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.
- Revise drawings based on client feedback or internal review.
- Maintain drawing files and documentation in an organized manner.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Proven experience with Mozaik Cabinet Software.
- Strong knowledge of cabinetry design, millwork detailing, and woodworking processes.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings.
- Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CAD software is a plus (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with CNC manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of cabinet construction techniques and material specifications.
- Experience working in a high-volume production environment.
